My Makeup Collection: New Additions

Hello to all my fellow makeup addicts! I am all about trying out new products and finding out what works best for my skin and completion. I’ve tested these products for a week now so I wanted to give you my opinion on them.

RCMA No-Color PowderIMG_3247

The first new product I tried out is the RCMA No-Color Powder. Pros: Size and price, this bottle is 3 oz. for the price of $12. This product is comparable to the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder which is 1 oz. for $38. Quality, this product has a nice, fine texture and flawless finish. Cons: Availability, unfortunately this product is only available online and shipping is $7.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance PaletteIMG_3250

I have wanted this palette for quite some time. I absolutely love warm neutrals. Pros: Formula, I love how soft and smooth these go on yet they are still very pigmented. Cons: Shadows have some fallout. Below are swatches from the palette.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour KitIMG_3260

I haven’t had a cool toned contour powder so the main reason I bought this was for the shade “fawn”. Pros: Texture and pigmentation, these powders go on so smooth and the color lasts all day. Con: Price, this kit is $40 but for getting 6 different powders I don’t think it’s that bad.

Top Row (L-R): Vanilla, Banana, Sand. Bottom Row (L-R): Java, Fawn, Havana.

Benefit: GALifornia Blushimg_32821.jpg

I think this is the perfect blush for summer! It gives just the right peachy pink color with a bit of shimmer! Pros: Scent, this blush smells amazing I love just smelling it haha. Size, the size is generous for the price. Cons: The brush it comes with, I honestly just threw it away because I did not like the way it applied the product.

Tarte: Shape Tape Concealer

I Use The Shade ‘Fair Neutral’

With so many makeup artists and beauty gurus raving about this product I had to try it for myself! Pros: Coverage, this is a full coverage concealer but it doesn’t feel heavy! Con: size of applicator, the wand is pretty large so use a light hand otherwise you will end up with a lot more product on your face than is necessary.

Wow my makeup obsession is real! Hope you guys enjoyed my little review! What makeup products are you excited to try next?
