Chilly Summer Fashion

Summer. A time for warm weather and being care free. Summer means shorts, skirts and tank tops. Unfortunately, it isn’t warm enough for summer clothing all the time when you live in Minnesota. This outfit is my solution to that.

IMG_1860.jpgI am a big fan of pairing a skirt or shorts with a long sleeve top for chill days and nights. My top is a carmel color mock neck long sleeve from Forever 21. My denim skirt I bought in Paris at Zara. I love the fraying at the end and the fact that it has pockets!

IMG_1834Now onto accessories. My necklace is from Tess + Tricia. I love how natural their jewelry is and can be paired with anything. The bracelet I’m wearing is the Eve Metal Wrap from Alex and Ani. I like that this bracelet because it is different from the usual Alex and Ani bracelets with the charms. Who says closed toe booties can’t be worn in the summer? These are from Franco Sarto. They are very affordable and so cute!

IMG_1859Last for accessories are these clear glasses I recently bought from Zara. They are so fun and a great extra accessory for those cloudy summer days when you aren’t wearing sunglasses.

Special shout out to the bestie Chloe for being my photographer for the day as well as showing me around her hometown, much love! I hope everyone is enjoying the wonderful summer weather(:
